About
Georg is a composer for audio-visual media, living and working in Berlin, Germany.
His body of work spans a multitude of genres and medias, from music for big blockbuster Trailers for shows like Netflix’s “Vikings: Valhalla” and Disney’s/Hulu’s “Predator: Prey” over video game scores all the way to delicate arthouse documentaries. In 2022 he finished the work on his first feature film “The Expert at the Card Table“, a blend of documentary and reenactment scenes, for which he wrote a magical and mischievous orchestral score.
His work has already been recorded and performed by a variety of orchestras and ensembles, among others by the German Film Orchestra, Staatskapelle Halle and Brussels Philharmonic.
In 2023, he was awarded with the 2nd Place at the renowned FMF Young Talent Award, hosted by the Krakow Film Music Festival in Krakow, Poland and judged by industry giants like Hollywood orchestrator and educator Richard Bellis, Hollywood conductor Gavin Greenaway and Emmy-Award winning composer Nainita Desai. In 2024 a nomination for the SABAM-Award at the World Soundtrack Awards in Ghent followed suit.
Georg holds a BA in Audio Engineering for Film & TV and is set to finish his Masters in Film Music Composition at Filmuniversity Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, Potsdam, Germany in 2025.
