Music for Media
Georg Mausolf (that’s me) is a Halle (Germany) based composer, specialized in Music for Media.
Born in 1997 in Halle/Saale (Germany), my musical education began early, first playing the violin, then switching over to guitar and ultimately to piano and percussion/drums. Being the son of a violin-teacher and a software engineer, it was the (somewhat) logical conclusion that I ended up making music and noise on the computer.
Since 2010 I improve my skills in composition, having composed to this day several hours of orchestral music. But also genres like Hip-Hop, Dubstep, Rock, House, etc. have fallen on to my way of finding my own style while staying versatile in my form of expression. My music has already been used in a variety of international spots, show-reels, etc.
In 2016, I performed my track “Fantasia for Marimbaphone and Orchestra” live with the Staatskapelle Halle.
After interning at a major Audio Post Production facility I’m currently studying “Sound“ at Filmuniversity Babelsberg „Konrad Wolf“.
